Bastian Glasmacher

Bachelor of Arts Gesundheitsmanagement & Kaufmann für Marketingkommunikation, startet seine Fitnesslaufbahn nebenberuflich mit bereits 16 Jahren in seiner Heimatstadt Monheim am Rhein. Seit 2009 machte er seine Leidenschaft zum Hauptberuf mit seinem Geschäftspartner Claudio Falletta eröffnete er die MAORI Fitness Community, den Spezialisten für Gruppenfitness & mittlerweile auch EMS Personaltraining in Saarwellingen. 2011 begann er seine Ausbildertätigkeit als LES MILLS Nationaltrainer für die Programme BODYATTACK & LMI STEP. Die Programme LES MILLS GRIT & BORN TO MOVE folgten kurz darauf. Eines seiner Lieblingsmottos ist “Meistere das Leben lächelnd oder gar nicht.”

Katharina Zorandy

Ich bin am Niederrhein aufgewachsen und dort auch zur Schule gegangen. Mit meinem Papa aus Ungarn und meiner Mama aus der Pfalz war ich dort aber nie wirklich heimisch und schon als Jugendliche viel unterwegs.

Nach dem Abi 2009 bin ich nach Düsseldorf gezogen und habe dort Sozialwissenschaften und BWL studiert.. zumindest habe ich es versucht. Das war aber irgendwie gar nichts für mich und ich habe während eines Urlaubs spontan beschlossen mich bei Tui als Animateurin zu bewerben und mal eine Saison im Ausland zu verbringen. Das ging dann alles irgendwie sehr schnell und eine Woche später war ich auf Kreta.

Aus der Saison wurden zwei Jahre als Animateurin bei der Tui, unter anderem auf Kreta, in Ägypten, der Türkei, auf den Kanaren und in Andalusien. Dort habe ich meine Fitness-Trainer B Lizenz erworben, diverse Aqua Fitness-Scheine und (Achtung FUN FACT, denn heute glaubt mir Tanzmuffel das keiner mehr) eine Zumba Ausbildung gemacht.

In der Zeit wurde mir klar, dass ich unbedingt was mit Sport machen möchte. Nach den zwei Jahren bin ich nach Berlin gezogen, habe dort ein Jahr Vollzeit als Trainerin in einem der größten Fitnessstudios der Stadt gearbeitet und meine erste LES MILLS Ausbildung gemacht: Mein Herzenprogramm Bodybalance 🙂

Dann studierte ich Sportwissenschaften an der Humboldt Universität in Berlin und arbeitet nebenbei als Trainerin für LES MILLS- und Freestyle Kurse sowie in der Koordination der betrieblichen Gesundheitsförderung beim Hochschulsport der HU.

Ich bewarb mich beim ersten Presenter Casting für Bodybalance und Bodypump – wurde aber leider nicht genommen. Aber ich war mir so sicher, dass das mein Weg ist und so hab ich’s einfach nochmal versucht und es hat geklappt! Ich begann meine Laufbahn als Bodybalance Presenter.

Obwohl ich eigentlich schon immer ein kleiner Zappelphilipp war und selten still stehen konnte, habe ich durch Bodybalance eine andere Seite an mir kennengelernt. Ich beschloss mein Wissen zu vertiefen und begann 2016 meine Yogalehrer Ausbildung in Berlin, die ich 2017 erfolgreich beendete.

Beim LES MILLS live 2016 durfte ich das erste Mal auf der großen Bühne dabei sein und lernte Gabriel als Teil des Bodybalance Teams kennen. Ein Jahr später beim European Summit in Andalusien sprang dann der Funke über und wir telefonierten und schrieben täglich zwischen Berlin und Bühlertal hin und her.

Schnell war klar, das ist was ernstes. Ich beschloss mutig zu sein und brach im Dezember 2017 alle Zelte in Berlin ab und zog von der Großstadt aufs Land zu Gabriel und seinen vier Katzen.

Der große Schritt wurde belohnt: Mittlerweile arbeite ich in Teilzeit bei der SG Stern in Rastatt (dem Sportverein der Daimler AG) im Sportmanagement, bin Nationaltrainerin und Advanced Trainerin für Bodybalance und Presenter für Cxworx, unterrichte in Bühl und Rastatt zusätzlich Bodypump, Bodyattack und Les Mills Grit sowie TRX, Functional Training oder Outdoor Kurse. Was ich nie gedacht hätte: Yoga ist zu meiner großen Stärke geworden. Und gebe Yogareisen, Yogastunden im Fitnessstudio und am Arbeitsplatz bei Mercedes sowie auch in einer Arztpraxis. Durch den Sport bin ich in meiner neuen Heimat super aufgenommen worden und habe schnell neue Leute kennengelernt. Ich genieße die Natur im Schwarzwald, meine super vielfältigen unterschiedlichen Jobs und die gemütlichen Abende mit unseren Katzen auf dem Sofa. Aber ein bisschen Großstadt-Mädel steckt auch noch in mir – immer wenn ich die Chance habe nach Berlin zu kommen, bin ich happy 🙂
